1. Acceptance of Terms

By using any service provided by West Islip Towing ("we," "us," or "our"), including towing, roadside assistance, and related services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services. These terms apply to all customers who request or receive services from West Islip Towing, whether by phone, online form, or in person.

2. Services Provided

West Islip Towing provides towing and roadside assistance services including but not limited to: emergency towing, flatbed towing, roadside assistance, car lockout service, jump start service, battery replacement, accident recovery, flat tire change, motorcycle towing, long distance towing, winch out service, and heavy duty towing.

We reserve the right to refuse service to any customer for reasons including, but not limited to, safety concerns, unpaid balances, or situations outside our service area or capability. We will always communicate clearly if we are unable to assist.

3. Pricing and Payment

All service rates are quoted prior to the start of work. By accepting a quote and proceeding with service, you agree to pay the quoted amount upon completion. Final pricing may be adjusted only if you authorize additional work beyond the original scope.

Payment is due at the time of service unless prior arrangements have been made. We accept cash and major credit cards. We do not offer credit or deferred payment plans unless explicitly agreed upon in writing.

Rates do not include additional charges for tolls, ferry fees, or other out-of-pocket expenses incurred during service unless communicated to you in advance.

4. Customer Responsibilities

You are responsible for providing accurate information about your vehicle, location, and service needs when you contact us. Providing incorrect information may result in delays or the dispatch of incorrect equipment.

You represent that you are the lawful owner of the vehicle or have the legal authority to authorize services on the vehicle. We are not responsible for towing or servicing vehicles under circumstances involving fraud, theft, or unauthorized use.

You agree to ensure that the vehicle is accessible and that there are no hazards that would prevent our team from safely performing the requested service.

5. Limitation of Liability

West Islip Towing takes every precaution to handle your vehicle safely. However, we are not liable for pre-existing damage to a vehicle, mechanical failures, or damage resulting from conditions outside our control, such as extreme weather, road debris, or underlying vehicle defects.

In the event of any claim arising from our services, our maximum liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer for the specific service that gave rise to the claim.

We are not responsible for personal property left inside your vehicle during towing or storage. We recommend removing valuables before your vehicle is towed.

6. Cancellations

You may cancel a service request at any time prior to the arrival of our truck at no charge. If our driver has already arrived at your location, a trip fee may be charged to cover dispatch and fuel costs.

For long-distance towing services that have already commenced, cancellation fees may apply based on the distance already traveled. Our dispatcher will inform you of any applicable cancellation fees at the time of your request.

7. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes not resolved informally shall be subject to the laws of the State of New York and resolved in the appropriate courts within Suffolk County, New York.

We reserve the right to update or change these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
